Whether you watch American Idol religiously, or just watch people embarrass themselves in the audition rounds, the name Clay Aiken is likely to ring a bell.
The singer, who narrowly missed winning the second season of American Idol, sat down with Mo Rocca to talk about everything for his love for restaurant chain Benihana to what he’d be doing if he weren’t — to quote Mo — “wildly famous.”
Clay, who is currently promoting his fourth studio album, On My Way Here, also talked about his fans — the aptly self-titled Claymates — and the traits they share.
Check the video to hear what Clay had to say, and if you want to know more about the singer, check out his Web site.

Love this interview. Clay is so cute, smart, witty and funny. They worked so well off one another. Could see them together in a comedy skit. Thanks Mo for using your wit to bring out one of my favorite characterictics in Clay.
