This week, while out and about in the city, I stopped by this fun event for Champagne Piper Heidsieck at W Hotel’s Whiskey Blue. The new trend they were promoting is called Piscine, where you put the bubbly over ice. Touché! (Note the pic I took against their faux French Riviera).
Also this week, I got to interview my long-time friend and Indie 103.1FM’s very own reggae master, Wayne Jobson, for our music scene show. If you’re into reggae or just want to escape the indie rock scene, you need to stop by Ma’Kai Restaurant and Lounge in Santa Monica this Sunday. He’ll be broadcasting his show, “Native Wayne’s Reggae Smoke-In” live from 4-6pm. Hang by the beach, grab a drink and relax mon!

Viviana chats with Daniel Gill, owner of Forcefield PR, a firm that represents a variety of arts-y ventures, from musicians to record labels to magazines.
